In this four week series we will explore how Yoga can help support low back health through physical practices (asana), as well as mindfulness techniques to increase body awareness. We will discuss anatomy, philosophy, and move the body mindfully together.
You will come away with tools you can use in your everyday life to help keep you strong and centered, so that you can continue to participate in the active lifestyle you love.
This class is for individuals who are able to participate in a gentle yoga class and have chronic low back pain, or are interested in preventing low back pain.
Cost of this 4 week series is $85 if paid by February 14th or $99 afterwards.
I know intimately the importance of a healthy low back. In 2009 I sustained a stress fracture in my lower spine which, in turn, led to a condition called Spondylolisthesis. Through the practices of Yoga I have been able to not only manage physical pain and regain mobility, but also change the trajectory of my life. I am deeply passionate about sharing the power of Yoga for healing in a light-hearted, sincere, and accessible manner.
