108 Sun Salutations are often practiced to mark a new beginning. You're invited to honor the longest day of the year and International Yoga Day with the Shanti Om community.
Swami Divyananda will open the evening in community with satsang, followed by chanting, and 108 multi-level Sun Salutations taught by Justine, Liz, Jenn and Yushin.
We will end with a restorative, quieting practice. Kat McMillan, accompanied by friends on harmonium, will lead us in chanting.
There will be time to pause, breathe, listen and honor your body as we our engage hearts, minds and bodies and hold the intention to shine light into the places that are dark, together.
108 is recognized as an auspicious number in many ways. A solstice tea and light snacks will be offered.
